@raulcd would it be possible to add an issue for us to track the next release please?

I'd marked (narwhals-dev/narwhals#3560) as blocked by #49831 (which is now fixed 😄).
But GH won't let me link a PR as the blocking reason, sadly

I can certainly create an issue for you for this specific one but it's not currently our process and I'll have to remember to close it manually. The release candidate is currently being voted, the vote is supposed to finish in ~48 hours and it has already enough binding votes to pass, we just have to follow ASF practices and require the vote opened for at least 72 hours to allow verification. As soon as the vote passes I'll publish artifacts and wheels.
As I'll have to remember to close the issue manually, I can also ping on the issue if that works for you.

The feature is fairly new, but everything in (discussion) and (docs) point to issues-only sadly

Show stuff that has nothing to do with this PR

I was hoping it'd be a mostly automated process, since AFAIK (linked issues close with the PR).
So it would create a chain where:

• (WIP: [Release] Verify release-25.0.0-rc1 #50357) merges
• some issue in this repo that is linked auto-closes
• (Type errors from new Pyarrow release narwhals-dev/narwhals#3560) becomes visibly unblocked
