agent-kit helps you handle emails using artificial intelligence. It connects with Claude or Cursor to give your email simple powers. With 27 tools, you can check your inbox, send or reply to messages, manage contacts, and search through emails. The tools follow a clear method called the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You do not need to sign up or pay to use the app.

🚀 Getting Started

agent-kit works on Windows and does not require advanced setup. Follow these steps to get it running.

🔽 Download and Install agent-kit

1. Click on the big green Download agent-kit button near the top or visit the agent-kit releases page.

2. On the releases page, look for the latest version listed under "Latest release." Versions usually come with a name like agent-kit-setup.exe or agent-kit-x.y.z.exe.

3. Click the setup file to save it to your computer. You might find it in your Downloads folder.

4. Double-click the downloaded .exe file to start the installation.

5. Follow the installer steps:

   • Agree to the license terms.
   • Choose the folder where you want to install agent-kit. The default location is fine for most users.
   • Click Install and wait a few moments for the program to finish installing.

6. Once installation completes, the program may open automatically. If not, find the agent-kit app in your Start menu and click it.

⚙️ Setup and Login

agent-kit works without signing up. You can choose to connect your email account right away:

1. Open the app.

2. You will see an option to Add Email Account. Click it.

3. Choose your email provider, for example Gmail or Outlook.

4. Follow the prompts to sign in to your email account securely.

5. After login, agent-kit will sync your emails and contacts. This may take a minute or two.

You do not have to add an email account to try out the tool’s other features like contacts or drafts.

📨 Using agent-kit’s Email Tools

The app divides its tools into simple sections. Here's how to use some key features:

Inbox and Emails

• Your inbox will list emails by sender, subject, and date.
• Click on any email to read the full message.
• Use the search bar to find messages by keyword or name.
• Mark emails as read, delete them, or move them to folders.

Sending and Replying

• To compose a new email, click New Email.
• Type in the recipient’s address, subject, and body.
• Use the AI suggestion box if you want help writing your message.
• Click Send when ready.
• To reply, open an email and select Reply or Reply All.
• AI can draft your reply automatically or help improve your message.

Contacts

• The Contacts section lists your saved emails.
• Add new contacts by clicking New Contact.
• Edit or delete contacts anytime.
• Use contacts to quickly add recipients when composing emails.

Search and Tools

• Use the search box at the top for finding emails fast.
• You can filter by dates, sender, or keywords.
• The app also provides extra tools based on MCP protocols to help with SMS, email tracking, or AI-driven insights.

🔧 Settings and Preferences

Click the Settings icon in the app to:

• Change your email sync frequency.
• Adjust notification alerts.
• Manage connected email accounts.
• Select default AI assistant (Claude or Cursor).
• Update privacy options.

🔄 Updating agent-kit

Check the GitHub releases page regularly for new updates:

To update:

1. Download the latest installer from the releases page.
2. Run the setup file again.
3. The installer will replace the old version without losing your data.
