Similar to fi-nodes, we should consider setting up a local configuration/site file that contains the default directory to start cephdu in. We would use this to toggle between /mnt/ceph and /mnt/sdceph on rusty and popeye, for example.
We might want to keep the CEPHDU_DEFAULT_DIR mechanism, though. Presumably the site file should override this?
