AnimaWorks is an open-source multi-agent framework. Agents run as an organization, not just a task pipeline.
Each agent has brain-inspired memory (RAG + consolidation + forgetting based on hippocampus model). There is a real org hierarchy with supervisor/subordinate relationships. Heartbeat keeps them working autonomously.
I built this as a psychiatrist who also runs a company. The memory design comes from neuroscience. The org communication rules come from real management experience.
It supports Claude, GPT, Gemini, Ollama and more. Docker demo runs a 3-person team in 60 seconds.
