Adds GI JI to
## AI Tools, alphabetically between Gemini Collector and GroAsk, synced acrossREADME.md,README-zh.md,README-ja.mdandREADME-ko.md.What it is: a macOS desktop knowledge workspace. It imports your own PDFs, Word files, notes and permitted web pages, indexes them on your own machine, answers with the exact stored passage shown beside the answer, and refuses when your documents do not contain the answer. AI-drafted notes stay inert until a person approves them. Two local models run through Ollama, so it works offline after the first setup download.
Disclosure: I am the maker.
Why no icon: the freeware icon means free to use or free personal licence. The free edition is capped at 20 documents, which is neither, so claiming that badge would be inaccurate. Paid entries in this section (BoltAI, Fluent) carry no icon either.
macOS 14+, signed and notarized by Apple. $79 one-time with a free edition, no subscription.
