As discussed in #32, we had temporarily disabled grading files that lived on a computer.
This PR brings that functionality back, by focusing on speedups.
It's still slower than grading locally, but seems acceptable to me. For reference, grading
ricetakes roughly 3 minutes locally and 12 minutes on the computer withgpt-4o-mini.
