Reality Contact Core

Reality Contact Core is governance infrastructure for evaluating whether operational state retains sufficient contact with validated runtime reality before consequence-bearing execution occurs.

The project focuses on one foundational operational question:

Does the executing system still retain sufficient reality contact under current operational conditions to support legitimate execution?

Reality Contact Core explores how systems preserve admissibility when:

state drifts, assumptions age, synchronization degrades, authority changes, and operational environments evolve underneath autonomous execution. Core Principle Coherence is not the same as reality contact.

Operational legitimacy depends on whether execution remains grounded in validated runtime conditions. Why It Exists

Modern autonomous systems increasingly operate inside environments where:

operational state changes continuously, synchronization becomes imperfect, assumptions degrade over time, authority conditions evolve, and consequence-bearing execution persists under uncertainty.

Many systems remain internally coherent while gradually losing validated contact with external operational reality.

Reality Contact Core focuses on preserving sufficient runtime grounding for legitimate execution before operational consequence forms.

Focus Areas Runtime state validation Reality contact evaluation Operational admissibility State freshness Synchronization integrity Drift detection Continuity-preserving governance Runtime grounding verification Repository Scope

This repository contains:

public-facing architecture governance concepts sanitized examples integration references documentation demo evaluation flows Development npm install npm run dev Build npm run build Deployment

Deploy as a standard serverless or Next.js application.

Compatible with:

Vercel self-hosted Node.js infrastructure containerized environments Philosophy

Reality contact is not:

confidence, fluency, probabilistic agreement, or internal coherence alone.

It is the preservation of sufficient operational grounding for legitimate consequence-bearing execution under evolving runtime conditions.
