This article covers how to run DK64 Randomizer on the Wii U utilizing homebrew

Setup Instructions

The DK64 randomizer works via inject on Wii U VC. To do so, follow these instructions:

1. Set up Aroma by following this guide
2. Once Aroma is set up, use the homebrew app installer to install NUSspli Lite
3. Go find the sigpatches module and add it to Aroma
4. Go to injecting and select "Do pack" to start the injection
5. Open PhacoxsInjector
6. Click Choose and select your modified ROM that has been converted with any of the above methods
7. Add the Wii U "Common Key" on the settings tab. We cannot provide this for you
8. Click Load Base and select the DK64 Base.
9. Go to Config file and select the .ini file.
10. Select the install folder on your FAT32 SD Card. Your SD card will also need the following folders correctly set up:
    • apps
    • hax chi
    • Nintendo
    • saves
    • wiiu
11. Put the SD card in the Wii U and install the randomizer rom via NUSspli Lite

Valid OS Versions

Versions other than the latest version of the Wii U OS have issues running DK64 Randomizer and have been known to cause stability issues.
