Installation

Welcome to the mDirt Installation Guide! This page will help you get mDirt up and running quickly.

System Requirements

• OS: Windows 10 or later*.
• Disk Space: At least 130 MB free space for installation and projects.
• Memory: While mDirt doesn't take a lot of memory, it is recommended to have at least 4 GBs.

Download

1. Go to the mDirt Releases Page
2. Download either the Installer (.exe) or Portable (.zip) file.

Installation Steps

Installer (Recommended)

1. Run the installer.
2. Click through the installer, agreeing to the license, and press install.
3. Run mDirt (Found in your start menu, or as an icon on your desktop).
4. If Windows shows a security warning, click More Info -> Run anyway

Portable

1. Extract the downloaded .zip.
2. Open the folder and double-click mDirt.exe to launch the program.
3. If Windows shows a security warning, click More Info -> Run anyway.

Troubleshooting

• mDirt won't start or crashes immediately
  • Check that your antivirus or firewall isn't blocking mDirt
