I would like to get confirmation on a couple limitations that I have encountered.
FEM bodies do not appear to interact with each other. Are there any plans to add this functionality?
When using stiffer engineering materials (think E=2.7Gpa or higher), the critical timestep has to be quite small, and as a result the performance suffers tremendously. The image below is a 14.7k tetrahedra column with a rigid mass on top. The delta time is 1e-7 (1e-6 * 10substeps) and it has a 1s event time. This sim takes over 9hrs to solve on my laptop 4090. Is this long of a solve time to be expected?
