Summary of Changes
Hello @rebeccaellis, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!
This pull request makes the search-simple-query.js sample extractable for documentation by adding standard start and end markers around the core code block. This is a common practice in this repository to ensure code samples in documentation are kept in sync with the actual code.
Highlights
- Documentation Markers: Added
[START]and[END]markers to thesearch-simple-query.jssample to enable automatic extraction for documentation purposes.

Code Review
This pull request introduces [START ...] and [END ...] region tags to the retail/interactive-tutorials/search/search-simple-query.js file, likely for documentation generation purposes. The changes are minor and primarily involve adding these comment tags and a couple of blank lines.
The review feedback focuses on aligning the placement of these region tags with the conventions outlined in the Google Samples Style Guide (referenced in the PR description). Specifically, it suggests removing the blank lines immediately following the [START ...] tag and preceding the [END ...] tag, as the style guide examples typically show tags directly adjacent to the code they enclose.
Additionally, the PR title "Rebeccaellis patch 2" is quite generic. It would be beneficial for future traceability to update it to be more descriptive of the actual changes, for example: "Docs: Add region tags to retail search simple query sample".

Consider removing this blank line. The Samples Style Guide, referenced in the PR checklist, indicates that [START ...] region tags should be placed immediately before the code block they designate1. Examples in the guide do not show an intervening blank line. Removing this line would align the formatting more closely with the documented conventions.

Similar to the [START ...] tag, consider removing this blank line. The Samples Style Guide indicates that [END ...] tags should be placed immediately after the code block1. Examples in the guide do not show a preceding blank line. Removing this line would ensure consistency with the documented conventions.
