LiveReview aims to provide support for numerous AI backends - to suit the specific conditions of various teams, business and technical requirements.

For example - LiveReview can optimize for economically frugal setup by using Gemini's free tier as an AI backend. Ideal for early stage teams.

Or LiveReview can accommodate a fully self-hosted Ollama backend with optimized Mistral running on-premises for highly security conscious teams.

LiveReview comes with AI backends with two support levels:

  1. Recommended: These backends have been end to end tested in detail - and have proven to work well with LiveReview's prompts and processing systems.
  2. Experimental: These backends have support at a system level but you may face issues along the way. If a particular backend is important to you - just cast your vote in the poll and we will prioritize full-fledged support for the highly requested models.
