Builds on #4721 (was necessary for some of the functions I used). Might be good to review that one first.
There were some similar improvements in that PR that I wanted to apply to
Main.hs, so I did them here. Thanks to @TOTBWF for helping me untanglegenCode!We also enabled a bunch of language extensions along the way 😅 hopefully those are good changes as well.
