WRT #171
Migration of the optimize plugin from tkinter to PyQt.

I've only tested on PyQt5, and will likely do another PR that does any PyQt6 migration if needed (just wanted both versions to be committed in case people needed to use either version).

Looks good! Also works for me with PySide6
