How to install the Vapecord-ACNL-Plugin

Direct Install (RECOMMENDED)

  1. Make sure you have Luma Custom Firmware installed and updated to the newest version!
  2. Download the Universal Updater and install it on your 3DS/2DS!
  3. Open the App on your 3DS and look for the Vapecord-ACNL-Plugin, there you can install it directly on your 3DS/2DS!
  4. While in the Home Menu of your 3DS/2DS press L + DPadDown + SELECT to open the Rosalina Menu.
  5. Activate the Plugin Loader. (If the Plugin Loader is not present in the Rosalina Menu redo the third step!)
  6. Make sure you have the newest Version of Animal Crossing New Leaf Welcome Amiibo

  • All of these Game Icons work!

  1. Now just start your game and on the top screen should appear a blue screen for a moment, then the plugin is ready to be used!

Manual Install

  1. Make sure you have Luma Custom Firmware installed and updated to the newest version!
  2. Download the newest release of the Vapecord-ACNL-Plugin from the releases page!
  3. Extract the Vapecord.Public.zip and put the content of it onto the root of your SD-Card, replace files if prompted!
  4. Start your 3DS/2DS and press START if the Luma Configuration Menu appears!
  5. While in the Home Menu of your 3DS/2DS press L + DPadDown + SELECT to open the Rosalina Menu.
  6. Activate the Plugin Loader. (If the Plugin Loader is not present in the Rosalina Menu redo the third step!)
  7. Make sure you have the newest Version of Animal Crossing New Leaf Welcome Amiibo

  • All of these Game Icons work!

  1. Now just start your game and on the top screen should appear a blue screen for a moment, then the plugin is ready to be used!
