• Object List Name Entry
  • Now a dropdown list, can select from any list in the targetlists folder
  • Still maintains ability for manual entry
  • “Refresh Choices” button updates the list if changes have been made to the targetlists folder since the software was launched.
• Finder Chart Timeout and Download Indicator
  • “Load Finder Chart” Button now displays “Downloading…” while the download is in progress and times out after 60 seconds.
• Target Epoch Entry
  • Added Error handling to catch users who attempt to input “2000” and not “J2000”. Was failing under the hood and not informing user.
• Help Menubar
  • Menubar now has “Help” section, which when clicked brings up the user documentation on the preferred webbrowser.

TCC & Bifrost v1.0

First Stable Release of the Bifrost/TCC observing environment. Stable feature set includes basic telescope operations such as slewing, tracking, focusing, parking, cover position and pointing. This release also includes a fully functional observing suite which hosts target plotting, airmass plotting, finder chart generation and target list tracking. This release marks the first stable point of the software where the TCC can fully accommodate the 481 observing season.
