The BDDStack framework does not need much to be able to run on your workstation. We have tested this on:

Windows 7 Pro
Windows 10 Pro
Ubuntu 17.10 Workstation
Mac OS
CentOS (headless)
RHEL7 (headless) on OpenShift

The main requirement is Java (8.0) either OpenJDK or Oracle JDK. Java 9.0 will cause some issues.

The OpenShift Pipeline actually uses OpenJDK.
