On the top of the page, right below the OLF logo you will find the menu that can be extended by any module part of OLF. Next to the menu you find a logout link, as well as a search field, which allows full text search and makes instantaneous suggestions for your query.

The left part of the page is reserved for a project tree. Each project can be sub-divided into smaller branches. Currently, the project tree is configured to reflect the GeneTracker hierarchy of projects > genes > vector clones > cell-line recombinants.

That leaves the right column of the page where you can find so-called addins. Addins are small boxes that allows OLF modules to deliver content and functionality that should be easily accessible, such as the possibility to upload files or to scan barcodes / print labels. Each user can select and reorder addins according to his or her needs (see Customization).
