Project Setup

Even as a open-source project we need structure, but for the time being we keep it super simple.

The project is part of the Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative of the the MIT Alumni Energy, Environment and Sustainability Network, supported by INOVIA Solutions and other industry, research and academic partners.

There is a core team, plus associated team members that join for a limited amount of time to work on a specific scope item. This can be for example a student team, doing an industry project.

While the content is published on GitHub, the work of the team is also facilitated by a collaboration infrastructure provided by INOVIA Solutions.

We see this project as an ongoing research project, pushing the boundaries of digital and sustainability, while making sure the outcomes are of a quality, suitability and practicality that the industry feels compelled to use.
