Game rules changes:

  • Diplomatic contact established when scan range is entered
  • Tow ships and carriers can move non-IS ships around the galaxy map
  • Effective IS speed influenced by towed ships
  • Supply distance calculation considers whole "line" instead of only endpoints
  • Population migrates between stars passively, without "real" transport ships

Game content changes:

  • Non-weapons can be mission equipment
  • Added liner and asteroid hull types
  • Reworked hull type definition data
  • Increased armor absorption per hull size
  • Lowered inertia increase per hull size
