Filament_Tools
Calculate the area-fraction of the image filled with (septin) filaments.
To install the tool save the file filament_tools.ijm into the folder macros/toolsets of your FIJI installation.
Select the "filament tools" toolset from the >> button of the ImageJ launcher.
- press the a-button to analyze the active image
- press the b-button to analyze the images in a folder in batch-mode.
Right-click the a-button to open the options dialog.
- filament channel - the number of the channel containing the filament image.
- min. area - the minimal area an object must have to be considered a filament.
- max. circularity - allows to remove objects too round to be filaments
