This topic matters in relation to what we are currently studying, because in the Lab 01 we will be doing a system restore process. Additionally, system restore is going to be one of the many massively useful tools in my arsenal as a Cybersecurity professional. Being able to restore a previous version of software thanks to a lousy update, or being able to start with a clean slate after making the wrong choices during a work related project. The system restore tool is much more beneficial than it is believed.

This article explains how to enter into the computer's control panel to set up a system restore for just in case scenarios, including how to perform a system restore in case it needs to be done in the future for any reason. The benefits are also talked about for those that may have windows operating system malfunctions down-the-line.

Things I would like to know more about:
  • I would like to know more about how some programs perform automatic system restore junctions without needing to be told to do it manually. I was going to have questions about whether the system restore would affect the entire computer, but in the last couple of paragraphs it explains that files are not touched.
