This topic matters as it relates to what I'm studying in this module because I will be using VS code throughout this course and every day during this module. VS code is much easier to use when you know more about what you're doing and how to do it. GitHub is another platform that will be utilized daily throughout the course, so it is essential to understand the basics of running/managing my repositories as soon as possible.
Without comprehensible knowledge of both platforms talked about in this assignment I would struggle greatly on a daily basis while attempting to understand how to complete basic tasks. Both reading articles provide introductions into their respective platforms; which provide both essential, and generally beneficial knowledge for everyday use.
Things I want to know more about are ease of use commands in VS Code along with how to customize it fully to my liking. I would like to know more about subfolders in GitHub as well.
