OSM Import Rules
OSM geometries are categorized by features and can be specified in more details by means of tags. OHDM has no intention to keep all OSM data. OHDM is an active archive that keeps geometries of most but not all features.
Following list shows what geometries are stores and which not. Features in bold font are not stored with OHDM. We follow the features - accessed 2016 June, 28.

- Barrier (but only cable_barrier, city_wall, ditch, fence, retaining_wall, tank_trap, wall)

- cycleway handled as highway / path
- busway (not in OHDM)
- Other highway features are not in OHDM

- Shop (kept as building)

(Internal note: Those classifications are attached to the geographic object. There is a rendering style for each classification.)
OHDM also stores address tags.
The following annotations are kept in OHDM

- image (is renamed in url in OHDM)
- source (all variants)
- url
- website (is renamed in url in OHDM)
- wikipedia (is renamed in url in OHDM)
(Internal annotation: OHDM stores urls which refer data source describing an historical object. Mime type of that url is described as well. Image, url, website and wikipedia are handled identically.)
All name tags are kept in OHDM.
No further data are stored in OHDM.
