OS

Win 11 24H2

GPU

6700XT, 9070XT

Inputs

DLSS + DLSS FG, FSR3.1 + FSR FG, XeSS

Settings

-

FG-Settings

  • DLSSG via SL → FSR-FG/XeFG

  • FSR3.1 FG → FSR-FG/XeFG

Known Issues

  • Disable Motion Blur as it messes with FG options - causes graphical artifacts for DLSSG SL inputs

    • FSR3-FG also requires Disable Lens Distortion mod to remove ghosting on character

    • Might also have to disable Vignette through REF (under Camera options)

  • DLSSG via SL → XeFG may crash on boot - seems to depend on the vendor???

    • Works on 9070XT since the first optimization update (or the one before it), used to crash before

  • XeFG seems to disable the REF overlay

  • Recommended to disable FG in game settings before adjusting FG Options in OptiScaler to avoid crashes

    • Also for DLSSG via SL inputs, set in-game option to DLSS-FG 2x, as setting to Auto is crash-prone

Notes

  • Requires REFramework to work

    • Also recommended to change REF overlay’s shortcut to Delete or any other button in Configuration - Menu key as both REF and Opti use Insert as the default shortcut key

    • Download - REF Nightly (find the appropriate game file under Assets)

  • INSTALL METHOD 1

    • Keep REFramework’s default dinput8.dll

    • Either install OptiScaler as dxgi.dll or manually rename OptiScaler.dll to dxgi.dll

  • METHOD 2

    • Download REFramework

    • Download SpecialK from SK Github

    • Extract REFramework, SpecialK and OptiScaler files to the game folder

  • Then

    • Either install OptiScaler as dxgi.dll or manually rename OptiScaler.dll to dxgi.dll

    • Rename REFramework from default dinput8.dll to ReShade64.dll

    • Create a plugins folder, transfer SpecialK’s SpecialK64.dll to plugins, and rename SpecialK64.dll to dxgi.dll (same name as OptiScaler)

    • Folder structure example

    • This method seems to crash with XeFG

  • METHOD 3 - loading REF through OptiScaler

    • Rename REF’s dinput8.dll to ReShade64.dll

    • Either install OptiScaler as dxgi.dll or manually rename OptiScaler.dll to dxgi.dll

    • In OptiScaler.ini, set LoadReshade=true

  • Set Dxgi=false if on AMD/Intel as SL Spoof already unlocks everything DLSS related (Opti 0.9 already applies this)
