Default Settings

You can adjust the default settings GCS applies when creating a new Character Sheet.

Managing Settings

You can manage default settings the same way as other settings:

  • Reset settings to defaults: Select Reset .
  • Import or export settings: On the Settings toolbar, select Menu , then choose:
    • Import: Load saved settings into GCS.
    • Export: Save your current settings as a file.

Default Sheet Settings

Default Sheet Settings control the options applied to all new character sheets.

They include the same options as Sheet Settings. The difference is:

  • Default Sheet Settings apply to all new sheets you create.
  • Sheet Settings apply to the current sheet only.

To open Default Sheet Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Default Sheet Settings.
  • See Sheet Settings for a full list of options.

Changes are applied immediately. You don’t need to save.

Default Attributes

Default Attributes control the starting attribute values for all new character sheets.

They include the same options as Attributes. The difference is:

  • Default Attributes apply to all new sheets you create.
  • Attributes apply to the current sheet only.

To open Default Attributes:

  • Go to Settings > Default Attributes.
  • See Attributes for a full list of options.

Changes are applied immediately. You don’t need to save.

Default Body Type

Default Body Type controls the starting body type options for all new character sheets.

They include the same options as Body Type. The difference is:

  • Default Body Type applies to all new sheets you create.
  • Body Type applies to the current sheet only.

To open Default Body Type:

  • Go to Settings > Default Body Type.
  • See Body Type for a full list of options.

Changes are applied immediately. You don’t need to save.
