Rather than going to the latest which can move from under you, we have used the oldest supported like 22.04 and macos-12.

That makes sense! I wasn't too sure so I went with the latest. Looking at the Github docs, I see that the oldest mac os is 13. I can update the PR accordingly. Thanks for your time!

You were pro-active & prophetic. My PR to update this .g8 template failed to build because
the workflow .yml here attempted to use a/an Ubuntu version which is no longer available on GitHub.

Now that PR #109 in this repository has been merged, I believe this PR can
be closed. Essentially the changes of this PR have been manually merged, with appreciation,
in order to enable other changes to progress.
