取り急ぎざっくりコメントになりますが、要素関数の説明を未翻訳ドキュメントに丸投げするのは良くないと思っています。
現在foundations/functionsの翻訳に着手しています。

この表自体での説明はできるだけコンパクトに済ませたいと思い、他のページに詳細な説明があるようであれば、リンクで示すべきかと考えております。
要素関数の説明を未翻訳ドキュメントに丸投げするのは良くない
これはおっしゃる通りで、翻訳に着手いただき大変助かります。
