Support Community

The Thingino support community consists of both a Discord server and a Telegram group dedicated to providing assistance, sharing knowledge, and fostering collaboration among users of the Thingino firmware. This community is a central hub for troubleshooting, software updates, feature discussions, and networking with other users and developers.

Discord server

After registering on the server, you will be greeted by a welcome bot. Please take the time to introduce yourself in order to gain access to all chats on that server.

Discord has a 10MB limit on file uploads and also limits the length of text messages, so it is highly recommended that you use third-party services to share files and logs.

Logs and code excerpts posted directly to chats should be properly formatted. Add triple backticks before and after the content to preserve formatting, and use a monospaced font for rendering the piece:

Telegram group

The Telegram group does not require an additional introduction, but it is still recommended to give a short introduction after joining so that future communications have a personal touch.

Telegram supports markdown formatting in messages. It also has keyboard shortcuts for formatting message text. Select some text of your message and press Ctrl-m keys to format it monospaced.
