Setup: Create Library

Head to the Web app and create an account

Note

This account will automatically be enabled and set as admin. This means that it will be able to manage libraries and other stuff like artworks and master versions.

Note

Subsequently created accounts will need to be enabled by an admin user (see /settings/users)

Once you create the account:

• Visit the /settings/libraries page
• Click Create Library to create your first library.
• Enter the name and path of the library
  • The path should be relative to DATA_DIR in the .env
• Press the Scan button

Once your library is created, you should run a scan to collect the related files. To do so, click the Scan button.

Your Meelo server is ready to be used! Visit the / route on your favorite browser to enjoy your favorite music :).
