Video Types

It is possible to categorise and filter videos based on their type.

Available Types

Meelo supports the following video types:

• Music Video
• Lyrics Video
• Live Performance
• Behind-The-Scenes Footage
• Interview
• Advert
• Photo Gallery
• Documentary

Automated Type Recognition

Meelo can automatically detect the type of videos based on their name.

The detection algorithm is quite naive and leverages commonly-used keyword. For example:

• The After Show Interview would be typed as an Interview
• So You Say (Making Of) would be recognized as a BTS footage
• Fever (Live) would be typed as Live

Setting Type Manually

Users with the admin role can manually set the type of a video.

To do so, open the video's context menu and tap 'Change Video Type'.
