Series (Edit)

Overview

The Series edit screen creates or edits a sermon series. Series group related messages together, such as a multi-week study through a book of the Bible or a topical teaching series.

How to Access

Components -> Proclaim -> Series, then click New or click an existing series title.

Save	Saves and stays on the edit screen
Save & Close	Saves and returns to the series list
Save & New	Saves and opens a blank form
Cancel	Discards changes and returns to the list
Help	Opens this help page

Fields

Field	Description
Series Title	Required. The name of the series.
Alias	URL-friendly slug. Auto-generated if left blank.
Teacher	Default teacher for this series (TeacherList dropdown).
Description	Full description of the series (editor).
Location	Location assignment for multi-campus filtering.
Landing Page	Controls visibility on the Proclaim landing page.
Status	Published, Unpublished, or Trashed.
Access	Joomla view access level.
Language	Language assignment.
Image	Series image via Joomla media picker. Recommended: 800x450 pixels (16:9 ratio).

Publishing Tab

Created Date, Created By, Publish Up/Down dates, Modified Date, Modified By.

Permissions Tab

Per-item access control for Delete, Edit, Edit State.

Tips

• Use series to organize messages by topic, book of the Bible, seasonal themes, or speaker series.
• The default teacher is a convenience -- individual messages can override it.
• Images at 16:9 aspect ratio (800x450) display best in series card layouts.
