Glow Squid
A glow squid is a bio-luminescent variant of the squid, typically in deep oceans or underground waters.
Glow squids spawn underwater in deep ocean biomes below Y-40⁽¹⁾, in groups of 2-4.
When killed, glow squids drop:
- 0-2 Glow ink sacs (+1 per looting level)
- 1–3 Exp when killed by a player or tamed wolf.
Glow squid swim about aimlessly. They constantly emit shimmering particles.
When hurt, they stop glowing for 5 seconds, and gain a speed boost.
When outside of water, glow squids flop about randomly. After 20 seconds outside of water, they will begin to suffocate.
